Accountant (Financial Analyst)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week, As per collective agreement
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Haldimand-Norfolk, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) Accreditation, Certified General Accountants (CGA) Association Accreditation, Society of Management Accountants (CMA) Accreditation
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, Excel, Accounting software
Financial Auditor Specific Skills: Examine financial records and transactions, Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control, Prepare reports and audit findings
Accountant Specific Skills: Examine accounting records, Prepare financial statements and reports
Additional Skills: Supervise staff
Security and Safety: Bondable
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Attention to detail

Other Information:Will prepare annual filings and conduct analysis & reconciliation of regulatory variance accounts. You must have Advanced Excel skills including working experience with Pivot tables & IF statements.
