Skill Requirements:
Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Electronic Technician Trade Certification – consumer products, Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Not applicable
Type of Service and Repair: Televisions, Radios, Video cassette recorders, DVD players, Stereo equipment, Car stereos
Work Location Information: In shop
Specific Skills: Install, maintain and repair electronic equipment, Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies, Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults, Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies, Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools
Essential Skills: Continuous learning
Other Information:Not a entry level position-should have good basic skills,knowledge and understanding of consumer electronics
