General accountant
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Day
Salary: $50.00 Hourly for 37.5 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Ottawa Centre, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) Accreditation, Certified General Accountants (CGA) Association Accreditation, Society of Management Accountants (CMA) Accreditation
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Financial Auditor Specific Skills: Examine financial records and transactions, Prepare reports and audit findings, Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
Accountant Specific Skills: Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies, Analyze financial documents and reports
Security and Safety: Enhanced reliability security clearance
Work Location Information: Urban area
Other Information:Assist with Government accounting activities such as account reconciliation, invoicing, month end processing of journal vouchers, review/ verification of transactions, processing T4As and T1204s etc.
