Machinist
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $22.00 to $27.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Other Benefits, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Machinist Trade Certification
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Machine Experience: Conventional, Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
Machining Tools and Machines: Automatic lathes, Boring machines, CNC machines, Drill presses, Milling machines, Tapping machines, Tool grinders
Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
Essential Skills: Numeracy, Oral communication
Other Information: horizontal boring mill operator and programmer. Gibbs Cam and Heidenhain programming.
