Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: Speak English, Speak French, Read English, Read French, Write English, Write French
Work Setting: Public and private sector mailrooms
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Specific Skills: Calculate and affix correct postage on letters, parcels, and registered mail, Sell stamps, prepaid mail and courier envelopes and money orders, Sort mail according to destination, Bundle, label, bag and route mail into the proper delivery stream, Record special delivery and registered mail, Record and balance daily transactions, Search directories to find correct address for redirected mail
Additional Skills: Operate a computer, Perform routine clerical duties, Answer customer inquiries
Security and Safety: Secret clearance
