Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Provincial Management Consulting Association Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Area of Specialization: Business management, Business methods analysis, Organizational analysis, Management analysis, Operations management, Operational methods research, Corporate development planning, Human resource management, Program evaluation and review
Work Setting: Management consulting firm, Public sector
Management Consultant Specific Skills: Analyze and provide advice on the managerial methods and organization of an establishment, Conduct research to determine efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies and programs, Propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures, Conduct quality audits and develop quality management and quality assurance standards, Plan the re-organization of operations and human resources
Ability to Supervise: 4 people or less, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Security and Safety: Bondable, Top secret clearance
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Large workload
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle
