Software programmer (Senior Research Analyst – Statistical Reporting)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $35,000.00 to $45,000.00 Yearly for 37.5 hours per week, Bonus
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Ottawa Centre, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Registration as a Professional Engineer
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English, Speak French, Read English, Read French, Write English, Write French
Specific Skills: Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required, Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions, Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
Programming Languages: HTML, Java Script, CSS, Visual Basic, SQL, C#
Computer and Technology Knowledge: Internet, Office Suites, Project management software, HTML editing software, Web site creation and management software, Data analysis , Database software
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines
Essential Skills: Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information
