Warehouse shipper (Shipping and Receiving)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Forklift Operator Certification
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Retail and wholesale distribution center, Warehouse, Commercial facility
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: General office equipment, Electronic mail
Type of Equipment: Lift trucks and fork-lifts, Dollies and hand trucks
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Type of Operation: Manual inventory control, Handling of hazardous goods, International freight forwarding
Specific Skills: Determine method of shipment, Schedule transportation conveyances, Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents, Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, Maintain internal record-keeping system, Record shortages and reject damaged goods, Pack goods to be shipped, Unpack goods received, Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments, Oversee loading and unloading of goods
